loving care and wide educational experiences

Having been operating in Poynton for over 20 years, we have become experts in childcare and understand the requirements for giving your child the best start to their education.

We have built a strong early years team by ensuring all of our staff have the essential skills required to provide high quality care, including;

Qualified (or working towards) NVQ 3 in Child Development as a minimum requirement,

Paediatric first aid qualification, which is updated at least every 3 years,

Safeguarding certification,

Up to date food handling and food hygiene accreditation,

Ongoing in-house training.

We have a strong track record of building positive partnerships with parents and feel it is important that parents and nursery work together to achieve the best outcomes for the children. Parents can drop off and pick up the children from their rooms and will receive verbal feedback from their room’s key workers. We also use an online portal called Tapestry to keep you up to date with events at nursery and for children under the age of 2 we provide daily written reports on the key details of their day.

On a termly basis, we provide written reports for all children, keeping you up to date of your child’s progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. As your child turns 2 years old, we provide a ‘progress check at age 2’, where we will give you an accurate assessment of your child’s development, health and wellbeing.

The management team is led by Ian Jones, supported by our Early Years professional, Tina Woodward. Ian and Tina are always available to talk to you about any aspect of the nursery. Together they operate a daily hands-on management style to ensure that our family values-led approach is consistently maintained.

If you have any questions or would like to come and view the nursery, please contact Ian or Tina.
