Wow, Christmas is nearly upon us, where has that come from. This is such a special time of year and we just love getting into the festive spirit as much as the children.

In November we had another great visit from the local Police who came in to teach the children more about the importance of road safety. We like them to come in the winter months, as we know how important being safe around roads can be as the afternoons get darker. The children really enjoyed their visit as always and they jumped at the chance to get in the car!

We have just finished our last theme of stories and rhymes and the children all loved making all the crafts, joining in activities and doing lots of reading and singing around this theme.

We also visited Worth school this week in our pre-school room. This was an opportunity for the children who will be starting their primary school journey in September the chance to experience a real school environment and meet the teachers and pupils alike. The children were on their best behaviour and we were very proud of them as they took it all in their stride.

We have a very busy and exciting few weeks ahead and can’t wait to showcase our up and coming nativity – Oscars at the ready.

We hope you all have a wonderful month ahead – and as always if you have anything at all you want to discuss with us just ask any team member or contact Ian on hello@firststepspoynton.co.uk or call 01625 859867.
