Hello November. As we welcome in the colder weather we carry on with our theme of Traditional Stories and Rhymes as well as using calendar dates to explore more of the world around us.
We have really enjoyed Halloween, we’ve created some scaringly good drawings, crafts and paintings as well as enjoying our party. The Early Years and Pre-School children all had fun dressing up, playing party games, enjoying ghoulish food and having fun along with their spooky friends.
We also celebrated Bonfire Night by creating lots of colourful crafts, painting images of fireworks and playing with colourful slime.
We’ve used nursery rhymes and songs over the last few weeks to teach the children lots of things, from numbers to letters, animals to places to listen to the different sounds of language.
We also celebrated Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, this week. Which is always widely enjoyed by all the children.
We hope you all have a wonderful month ahead – and as always if you have anything at all you want to discuss with us just ask any team member or contact Ian on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01625 859867.
