Sensory at First Steps
The room encourages the children to use multiple senses and incorporates different colours, textures and noises into their early development. This holistic learning process encourages children to play safely and engage with their surroundings as well as stimulating brain development.
Babies
3 months-14 months
Our baby room is a stimulating, bright and welcoming space designed to meet the specific needs of our young babies.
Tweenies
14 months – 24 months
The Tweenie room is a dynamic space targeted to support the children’s growth of independence, curiosity and creativity.
Early Years
2 years – 3 years
In Early Years your child will be encouraged to start making more independent decisions, with a variety of free choice activities to choose from.
Pre School
3 years – 5 years
In Pre-School your child is encouraged to learn and develop in a fun environment, giving a structured routine and opportunity for free play.
Outdoors
At First Steps we have an abundance of outdoor space including 3 gardens, each filled with resources targeted at different ages.
