Tweenies
Tweenies at First Steps
Your child is now moving around and further exploring their environment. The Tweenie room is a dynamic space targeted to support the children’s growth of independence, curiosity and creativity. In this room, they are met with a wide variety of toys and activities and are encouraged to collaborate, developing their social skills and understanding of others.
Tweenies daily routine includes breakfast, snack, lunch and tea time, with an opportunity for an afternoon sleep. After their lunchtime meal, the room transforms into a restful environment, where we can cater for each individual child’s sleep routine, ahead of a busy afternoon.
Babies
3 months – 14 months
Our baby room is a stimulating, bright and welcoming space designed to meet the specific needs of young babies.
Early Years
In Early Years your child will be encouraged to start making more independent decisions, with a variety of free choice activities to choose from.
Pre School
In Pre-School your child is encouraged to learn and develop in a fun environment, giving a structured routine and opportunity for free play
Sensory
In addition to the children’s base rooms we also have a fun and stimulating sensory room for the children to enjoy.
Outdoors
At First Steps we have an abundance of outdoor space including 3 gardens, each filled with resources targeted at different ages.
